**Note to Hosts, the above post goes with the short story, but I didn't want to put it all in one post or else it would be huge**
Dan looked at the big tinted bus he was about to get on still wondering what he was doing. He pulled an envelope out of his pocket and pulled out its contents. The invitation read YOU ARE INVITED FOR A WEEKEND OF FUN WITH FRIENDS TO A REMOTE CABIN. Initially he was unsure of such an invite, but he remembered how he got a call from his fiance Kim around the same moment he opened his invite. She had called to say she had gotten an invite for a weekend in the woods. After the call, he didn't question the invitation any longer until the moment he was about to get on what looked like the most luxurious bus he had ever been on. Dan stepped on the bus and instantly smiled. He was amongst friends and acquaintances. He saw his beautiful fiance, Kim, sitting up front and smiling. He then saw his best friends Javi and John sitting behind her along with Kim's sister Jessica, to their right. He looked towards the middle of the bus and saw one of his buddies, Robbie, deep in a book. Past them he saw Melanie and Joey laughing and chatting with each other. Dan's concern regarding the mystery trip soon faded as he sat next to Kim and gave her a kiss on the cheek. The bus driver closed the door, which signaled it was time to go.
The bus pulled up to what looked like a cross between a cabin and a mansion. The group unloaded the bus and were in awe as they walked around the cabin grounds. Javi walked over to a wooded area and signaled to get Jess' attention. She saw him and followed. Once they were away from everyone, they started kissing passionately. Javi told Jess he loved her and that they would announce their engagement to everyone tonight. Jess was concerned about John's feelings because she thought he might have a crush on her. Javi assured her everything would be fine. They heard a noise in the bushes. Javi went to check on the noise, but found nothing. They both walked to join the others. As they left, a shadow peeked through the bushes. Mel and Joey were putting their bags into their room as Robbie walked in to announce he was sharing a room with them because he didn't want to be alone. Joey instantly laughed and began picking on him. Seeing how this saddened Robbie, Mel insisted Joey stop and she apologized for Joey's rudeness. Joey continued to ridicule Robbie and threw a pair of Mel's underwear in Robbie's face. Robbie ignored him and left the room. Mel warned Joey to stop being an ass and Joey agreed to stop being mean to Robbie. Kim and Dan found the room they wanted, closed the door, fell onto the bed, and began kissing. Suddenly the bed shook. Dan and Kim both stopped after the shake. The bed then began to shake violently. Kim jumped off of the bed screaming. Dan stepped off of the bed, grabbed a lamp, and just as he was about to lift the mattress up John jumped up from beneath the mattress roaring. As John laughed hysterically, Kim and Dan chastised him and began to laugh themselves.
As the sun started to go down, everyone gathered in the living room. Javi had told them after dinner he had something to say, and now was his time to do it. Javi explained he was finally in love and found the perfect woman he wanted to be with. He then announced his happy engagement to Jess. Robbie, Joey, Mel, and Kim congratulated the two. Dan looked over at John who had suddenly lost all color in his face. John then announced he was feeling cold and was going to the woodshed to get wood for the fireplace. He left the cabin and slammed the door, leaving everyone looking confused. Javi and Jess' confusion suddenly turned to sadness. John walked to the woodshed cursing to himself. He then started taking deep breaths and reminding himself that they are his friends and he will be supportive. He got to the shed and as soon as he opened the door, an axe came down in his skull. Javi looked at Jess and the rest of the group and told them he would be back. He went out the door to check on John. Kim went to comfort her sister as Joey let out a hysterical laugh. Mel glared at him just as everyone heard a blood curling scream. Jess recognized it was Javi. Then the power went out. Everyone soon panicked. Mel advised everyone to go to the kitchen for candles, but Jess did not want to leave the front room until Javi came back in. Kim and Dan decided to stay with her. Mel, Joey, and Robbie went to the kitchen. The darkness in the house made it difficult to see what was going on outside. Jessica pulled out a lighter and held it to the glass window to see if she could see anything. Just then Javi's body came crashing through the window pinning Jess on the ground. Kim screamed and ran towards Jess just as the shadow stepped into the window that had just been broken carrying an axed. Kim froze in horror as she watched the shadow drop the axe on Jess. Dan grabbed a shocked Kim and ran towards the kitchen where Mel, Robbie, and Joey had just lit candles. The three watched as Dan and Kim tried to get words out regarding what had just happened. Just then the shadow appeared behind Dan and Kim with a fireplace poker. The five of them screamed and ran up the stairs that led from the kitchen to a a long upstairs hallway. The shadow slowly and menacingly followed them. As they were running, Robbie tripped up the stairs and fell. Joey reached and helped him up. As they both stood up, the shadow appeared directly behind Robbie. Joey stood in shock as the poker went through Robbie's back and then went through his stomach. Mel turned around, saw this and screamed. The Shadow yanked the poker out of Robbie and Joey and threw it at Mel's head. The Shadow missed her by inches. Kim then yanked Mel into the room and slammed the door. The three of them soon started loading things against the door as Kim kept screaming "why is this happening".
As Dan and Mel were moving a large dresser to barricade the door, Kim noticed a hidden passageway where the dresser had been. The three of them took their candles and walked down winding stone stairs that took them to a hidden room. In the room, they saw a bunch of candles lit and pictures of random people including themselves. They all looked at each other in panic, fear, and confusion as they tried to process not only what happened to their friends but also what all of this was meaning. They soon heard steps coming down the passageway stairs. Dan's demeanor went from panic to anger. He looked around for something heavy and found a huge chunk of loose stone. He signaled for Kim and Mel to hide in a dark corner. Dan told Kim he loved her and waited by the entrance to the hidden room with the stone raised above his head. The Shadow walked in and Dan attacked. The two struggled as Kim and Mel watched. The Shadow pulled out a butcher knife. Kim could no longer watch and ran for the shadow as it tried to stab Dan. The Shadow reached back with a quick swipe and sliced Kim's neck. Dan screamed in horror as Kim fell. As the shadow pinned Dan's neck down and raised its knife, Dan grabbed the dark mask off of the shadow's face and couldn't believe what he saw. The shadow then took the knife and stabbed Dan in the face. Mel stood paralyzed in fear as the shadow stood up above Dan. Mel tried not to scream or yell and prayed that the shadow forgot she was in the room. The shadow then turned around and revealed its identity. Mel sobbed out the name......RealityTvFreak aka RTF. The shadow slowly walked towards her with the knife. He explained to Mel how much he resented John, Javi, Jess, Robbie, Joey, Kim, Dan, and her for always stealing his potential contestants for his games. He explained that he lured them there to get rid of them so now he will be the only good host on imdb. Mel walked backwards slowly until she was backed against a wall. Mel explained that they were not the only hosts on imdb, so why did he pick them to kill. RTF, smiling, told her "it's because you two were the only stupid ones to come to a random place in the woods from a stranger. I'll be visiting the others soon though. Rest assured, you won't die alone." RTF took a few steps back, raised the knife, and just as he was about to throw it at Mel's head he happily said "This time I won't miss bitch." With that, he threw the knife at Mel's head.
